TWO girls, aged 13 and 14, are being sought by police after going missing from their Torquay homes two days ago.

It is believed they were last seen getting into a pillar box-red Vauxhall Corsa at Torquay's Lymington Road bus station on Thursday.

Hannah Meadows, 14, is 5ft 3ins tall with light brown medium length hair in a ponytail.

She was last seen wearing a green short-sleeve V-neck T shirt, blue jeans, white trainers and a black tracksuit-type top with a hood.

Thirteen-year-old Kayleigh Prowse is 5ft 6ins tall, slim, and with long brown hair featuring red streaks.

A police spokesman said: "The girls had been staying together before they went missing. There is no reason why they left home."

He said the Corsa had a grey front bumper and rear spoiler.

Anyone who has seen the girls in the last two days or who can identify the distinctive car is asked to call the police on 08452 777444, quoting log number 52 of October 30.

then I remember,
it's where you used to lie,

This sort of story is, unfortunately commonplace these days, isn't it?  It's got to the stage that you're suspicious of everyone.  I just hope that they're found safe and well

No news yet, and yes sadly it is all to familiar a story - but not the sort you want to be immune to reading - but sadly that is also true, you get ' blase' about them.
