Seeing you were in so long, did they give you a full body replacement? or just the one arm?

it's fine, the yellow areas are just where iodine has been. and a lot of it is dried skin. only one bit has not yet healed over. go to see them again on the 5th.
Luckily I have a sexy nurse to do my bandaging

Some of these things look worse than they really are and once the scabs fall off and you get a bit more air to the wound it should look a great deal better in a matter of weeks.  Keep us informed of your progress though.  :icon_thumright:

Good lord!  That still looks pretty ghastly 99.  Hope it soon all heals up.  I gather you can still type.  Can you move your arm okay or does it still really hurt?  Will you have a full range of movement when everything finally settles down?

I think it still looks an awful lot better than it did in the beginning,it is  such a large area to heal , and I would think in an awkward place too, as everytime you move your upper body it must move also, so all in all professer  Bdreamers verdict is its looking good.So keep up the good work. :halo:

I think 99 is saying that due to the op there are very few nerve sensations from the "new skin" area,
sometime the nerves in the area of op's grow again.

Still it is getting better and that is a good thing isnt it  :icon_thumright:

Plastic surgery in 6 months!  not going for  :boobs: are you ???  :angeldevil:

I went to the Skin Cancer Clinic about a month ago for a check-up and he burnt a few small ones off, but he said that I had a cyst on my back that needed removing.  As I'm on Warfarin, he wanted me to make an appointment to go back and not take my Warfarin the night before.

I went back yesterday and he got me to lie on the bed face down to give me a Local Anaesthetic and proceeded to cut the cyst out.  I thought that the cyst was only small, but when he'd finished, I realised that it was about 50mm x 25mm x 10mm and it required 7 stitches.  When he showed it to me, I immediately said "Bloody Hell, I was going to go on a diet, but seeing the size of what you cut out, I won't have to bother”

I have to go back in 11 days to get the stitches out

I get cysts all the time mostly on my head. and although they look small, when cut out they are quite big. it's one reason my tumour went for as long as it did.
in hospital tomorrow for a CT scan.

and yes Rad i don't have much in the way of nerves in my shoulder so can't feel much there. also can't raise my right arm as much as my left.
