Wow Gerry, you are lucky!
I went to the eye doctor a couple of months ago and had to have a load of new prescriptions. I have glasses for my computer, which are different for the office and for home. And I now need prescription reading glasses, as well as driving glasses. I originally had driving glasses about 5 years ago and for some reason, my eyes improved, and I didn't need them any more. But in the past year, I have had difficulty reading street signs again, so I'm back to driving glasses.
I count myself lucky because my mother started wearing glasses at age 14 and my dad in his 20s. Until I started getting age-related reading problems, my sight was very good.
In case you haven't noticed, getting old sucks!
