I myself like chicken

I do love the taste of fish but unfortunately I have an allergy to something IN fish (sea food) so do not get to eat it often

Where have the regular ones on here gone?
Face Book or Twitter maybe but I find those sites just sooooooooooooooooooooooo dull and as for FB it is so intrusive I just will not go on there.

I don't get here very often because I am away at sea a lot more now than before but do log in when I can, I have a lot to catch up on the model sites I use as well so that tends to occupy some time (sorry) but I did not think this site would have quietened down as much as it has being that most of the posters were in close proximity to each other

Oh well I'll keep looking in all the time the link works

99 how is your working life getting on and have you made a full recovery from your Op?

The other Forum I belong to seems to have slowed down as well, which is a pity.

I don't go on FB or Twitter either.  I've been on FB a couple of times but I found it very boring (maybe I'm doing something wrong)

I hope Igloo does pick up though

I will second that Gerry,
I have several other forums and sites I use and there are two model forums which now seem to be more to the military based model which I am not so those are slowly falling away from my favorites.
I have a FB account and now NEVER even go near it as it has NO appeal for me in any shape way or form, I stopped all the notifications to my email address for "pokes prezzies requests and reminders"
As for Twitter I just have not worked out what the hell that is all about.

I am off at the moment so have some time to myself and the wife (if the children will leave us alone)
I hope your in reasonable health.

Well I've never been on twitter and I've no desire to go there.

I hope Igloo gets a bit more lively soon as your weather gets cooler.

My health is OK (can't complain) and I'm sure if any of our members were poorly, they would let us know???  :dontknow:

Have been to the hospital again for more blood tests? I'm sure they are just collecting it for fun!
My ongoing back problem has been a little worse of late but I am determined to stay working as long as I can

I'm not sure if you mentioned you back problem before Rad but it seems be a very common complaint, which must be very debilitating.  Is it work related?

Having blood tests are quite common to me, as I have to have one at least once a month

Have had problems for many years.
Which all started from one accident (I think) and although it "got better" I now have to see if I can get pain management to continue working.
I am my own worst enemy in that I have built up a high pain threshold and will 'work through' most pains but that has caused more damage and so more pain.
The most annoying part is if I sit or stay still for any length of time then my back (although not painful then) seizes up and so when I do move it is eye watering and breathtakingly painful for about 15 to 20 minutes until I get all the joints to move again.
Advantage to stay working and that is where I am off to on stupid o clock Saturday morning.
So I may not be in a position to post very often but I will try as often as I can

I had a fall in hospital in 2002 and I had a great deal of trouble walking very far.  I had injections, heat treatment and numerous other things to try and get me moving but with no luck.  We went over to the UK in 2004 and before I left, I had an injection directly between my discs, it had to be done under X Ray as it was a very critical procedure.  I was told that it might give me permanent relief, no relief at all, or temporary relief.  It worked great for my trip to the UK and several months after, but the problem started again, so I had the injection again but this time it didn't work.

My Son in Law advised me to go and see a colleague of his who was a rheumatologist, who asked me to go and see a Physiotherapist, she was a Wee Scottish Lassie from Edinburgh and she put me on a lot of stretch exercises and it did the job.  I haven't looked back since
