er - no  sofa tis Sienna - the lighting was not good, its sort of terracotta - and thanks, will tell him  toothy9

Oh no, I like sienna.  Seems to be covering up the wallpaper very well.  It's going to look really nice when it's finished.  What colour are you painting the woodwork?

Woodwork will be white, and the alcove bits and one wall are going to be white too, for contrast, with cream curtains and prolly a chocolate or biscuit coloured carpet - not sure yet.

I think a chocolate coloured carpet would be a bit heavy.  A biscuit couloured one would add a nice contrast though, but all our tastes differ don't they?

quite difficult to capture the exact colour on camera but this is more accurate, ignore the bits on the ceiling - there is masking tape there !!
