oooh good idea - look forward to that.
Do you remember the one we had in the garden, trained on the BB nest, they all died sadly which was gutting, but hope you have more luck.

For a moment I thought 99 had a web cam on the BIG BROTHER bed rooms then realised it was only a black bird nest
There was me thinking 99 was not into spying

Perhaps it's because it's only autumn and there is still stuff in the garden for them to eat. When the ground becomes hard, they will be glad of your feeders.

Nice when you think the bird feeders you have placed, have attracted different birds than usual.

If 99 ever gets vultures appearing, don't go round for drinks, or you may end up in the 'Bird Feeder'

I have two hanging bird feeders and a dish near the ground. I have mourning doves and the occasional blue jay who go to the dish, but it doesn't seem to discourage the finches and sparrows from using the hanging feeders.
I also have nesting baskets tucked up under the roof overhang. This year I had four sets of families fledge their chicks. When I cleaned them out after the season was over, in one of them I found a dead finch. I guess it just couldn't figure out how to leave the nest and the rest of the family abandoned it. Very sad.
